Very relaxing day....got up just after 7am and made crepes / coffee (staples on hand) and then went grocery shopping and once back got laundry going and took a nap with the dogs - we were all tired.  James and Spence played some video games and our neighbour vacuumed at least 3 or 4 times in the morning.

In the afternoon, I popped over to Joanne's to grab our mail - she generously got our mail for us while we were away and then I worked on supper - pizza with some home made sauce.

Overall a very relaxing day.

A very long day in the car and some very tired folks...but we're home and going to sleep in our own beds tonight! :)

We left at 5:54am - how do I know?  Well, James wouldn't wait the extra 6 minutes for me to get a cup of coffee at Starbucks across the street, which opens at 6am.  We made very good time out of the city and were in Merritt by 8:30 and we did stop at Starbucks :)  We all had a snack and some drinks and we filled up with gas - James had a Capt'n Ron moment with the gas tank.  Glad he was right and we made it to the town with a bit of gas to spare.

We made Revelstoke for lunch and hurried on towards Banff - we had originally planned to eat supper at Eddie Burger, but the closer we got to home, the more we just wanted to get there and besides, we couldn't eat dinner at 4pm - that's early, even for us.

We were home by 5pm and had the truck unloaded by 5:30.  The boys went off to get the ordered Thai food and stop at Memory Express for a few things and I started doing the laundry and I unpacked the cooler.

It was a lovely rest of the night - watching some TV and relaxing.

Managed to sleep in again today but headed out for a walk with Karma & Hunter.  We left Hunter at the hotel and went off again with Karma.  We did the same walk as yesterday but backwards, Karma gets so tired after those walks that she's tired for the rest of the day.

We chilled for the rest of the day - hot tub, nap for me, video games & TV.  We met up with Igor, Heidi and Ella for supper at the Luxor Cafe (our annual Italian place) and had a terrific visit.  Ella has grown so much - no more snuggling during dinner, she sat in a real chair and was walking around visiting during supper - so cute!

Now it's time to pack and get ready for a long drive tomorrow - goal?  get home before bed time :)

We got up earlier today - but not as early as we had hoped.  We took both dogs for a 2+ hr walk through downtown and near the end, Hunter was stopping to lick his paws and rest - so he got picked up and James would carry him for a bit and then let Hunter walk until he'd stop for a rest again.

When we got back, we chilled until lunch when the boys went downstairs for custom pizzas and I went out for a client meeting.  Once everyone was back together, James and I headed out for another walk.  We went to Fluvog in Gastown, then we went to see Igor and finally off to Sinclair Centre for some journals and a new pen for James.

When we got back, we took the dogs for another walk and Spence out to get some snacks / dinner.  Spence got a burger/fries from a local restaurant, while James and I tried Oru in the hotel.  James had a tuna salad which was good, while I tried their vegan menu and was not impressed (serves me right) with either the soup or the risotto.

We pretty much chilled in front of the TV for the rest of the night and Spence played video games with his buddies.

We got up early (ok, early for a vacation) and headed out to the outlet mall by 9am.  We got a few things the guys were looking for, returned a few things I had purchased on my trip to the mall and had our annual lunch at Olive Garden.

We got to the border within an hour and breezed through the NEXUS line - totally worth the $50 we paid :)  The non-NEXUS lines were long and were moving slowly.

We made it to our hotel by 2:30pm - and found out we had our upgrade to the suite and on the pool level :)  We got our 2nd favorite room, so all is good.

We had a quick hot tub and then headed to Tojo's for supper.  It was a good experience, but not as good as Nobu....still, good enough to go back next year when we are in town again.

We got back to the hotel and grabbed dessert from the little cafe on the main floor and chilled for the rest of the night.

Our last full day in Seattle...we will miss you...until next year :)

Had a great day - started it off by walking Karma to daycare, stopping at Whole Foods for lunch / dinner supplies and then napping, watching an NCIS marathon, hot tub time and chillin.  Spence spent his day as a puddle on the couch and some hot tub/pool time and game time with Jonathan.

I packed the clothing and purchases and we loaded the truck, so tomorrow would be easier.  We grabbed Karma by car and once home - we all pretty much melted into the furniture and chilled.

Last day of PAX 2012 - the boys headed out for a full day of getting the last of swag, playing games and watching tournaments.  I walked Karma to daycare, stopped at REI for a few pairs of socks, stopped at Whole Foods to grab snacks and salad to go with my lunch, walked to Pike Brewery to see about exchanging a shirt James bought and then to Target to get some pop.

Walked back to the hotel and found out that the housekeeping staff still hadn't cleaned the room, so I ate my lunch (salad w sandwich) and then headed out with Donna for a final marathon shopping session for some final things for her.

I headed off to get Karma and once we were home, we all (Hunter, Karma & I) relaxed on the bed - they slept, I rested my tired tootsies.  Close to supper, I took the dogs for their walk and supper and ordered from Tulio's (Italian eatery across the street0.

I was really disappointed in the food and price - so when the guys said they were coming home and hungry, we all decided to order food (again for me).  We went with Wild Ginger and shared 2 appies and a main - enough food for all three.  Now its time to relax for the rest of the night.

plushy pillows from PAX - aren't they fantastic?
