We all pretty much relaxed today - James did his swimming, Spence played video games and I did a bit of laundry and baked some banana bread.

We went for supper with Grama & Grampa to Open Range for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Anniversary celebration.  Grama & Grampa gave us our gifts and we gave Grama hers (Grampa gets his during his Father's Day dinner in June).

Dinner was great, company was great and after that we went home and chilled for the rest of the night, catching up on some TV shows we missed during the week.

We started off with Atlas Shrugged, then spelling, math quiz, Aztecs for history today and then it was time to get ready for soccer.

The kids played on the long field today - but boy was it cold!  The wind was pretty strong and made it miserable to sit and watch.  We left right after the game this time as I had a physio appt and I left Spence to finish his drums, reading and do his chores.

My appt took over an hour and a half today, but boy does my shoulder really feel better.  I am supposed to get the all clear to climb by the end of next week, if I keep up my exercises.

By the time I got home, it was time to pack up and head out to ninjitsu - I walked Hunter first and got him fed and then we left to get Karma.  We drove down to the shop and found out it was closed today as the instructor was away for a week.  So we will try next week.

We turned around and headed home (rush hour both ways) and once home, walked Karma and put some spaghetti on the stove for supper.

James managed to beat us home and went off for a run before supper time - at least the temperature is warmer now than it was in the morning :)

Wednesday, Spence was still a bit sick and recovering from the we took it easy.  A few quizzes and lots of TV time with snuggles.

Today he was back to normal.  He was up just after 7am and we were out the door to the museum at 8:30 and while he worked there, I went off to meet with a client.  Today wasn't as exciting as last week - but still a good time.  Spence spent the day valuing the medals and other artifacts online - he thought the work was tedious, but necessary.

I picked him up around 12:30 and treated him to a double chocolaty chip drink from Starbuck's and we headed to the NE Leisure Centre for the afternoon.  We met up with Sam & Kelly and the boys stayed at the pool for 3 hours.

We left just after 4pm and came home to find James beat us home :)  Once I dropped Spence off and got some perogies in the oven, I went off to get Karma.

I was in her bad books, so I left her at daycare a bit longer today hoping that would put me back in her good books and it did :)  She was happy to see me and wookied for about a minute before she was ready to leave.

So today started out normally - silent reading and Atlas Shrugged (we watched the movie today [part I]) and then spelling and history (Mayan's today).

Spence in the meantime was busy being sick and so I decided he probably didn't need to head out to get his drum teacher sick.  Instead he finished math and curled up to watch some TV with juice and crackers.

So soup and crackers for dinner tonight.  Off to the grocery store to get chicken noodle soup and gingerale.

Today was the first day of school and I had my physio and lab appt.

We started with Atlas Shrugged, spelling, math, a few science shows, printing, drum practice, research on dark matter for Spencer's next paper, Italian and then vacuuming and chilling.

Overall a pretty good start to school.  The physio appt went well, looks like a sprained shoulder and he said that it would probably be pretty much healed up by the time I get my ultrasound.

Then I worked on supper (stew with noodles) and Spence chilled - talking to his friends.

James went off with Graeme to Sunshine and then dinner at the Paw in Canmore.  He posted some great pics of his ski time on Facebook.

Spence and I spent the day relaxing - Spence is still achy - but his ankle is finally not hurting and my head is not hurting, but I'm still a bit achy.  Hopefully we'll be better soon.

Tonight it was gnocchi for Spence and I, while James went to the Paw and had fish & chips.  We had a Season 6 Bones marathon tonight, nice bit of chill time tonight.
